Aisha

Rating :

  5 out of 5 stars

In a tribal country where the family name and status are very significant, Aisha, a 27 years old psychology graduate was abandoned by her parents at the age of months and raised in the orphanage. Aisha addresses parts of her childhood in those shelters that have left her the person she is today; those abusive milestones: first being abandoned by the main source of love: her parents, then being abused by supervisors in the orphanage (verbal, physical, and emotional) then leaving the orphanage at the age of 18 to start getting exploited by a society that treats you as a person who deserves to be exploited and taken advantage of. Not only that Aisha has to survive the tough life in an underdeveloped country where human rights barely exist, but also strives for acceptance from the society. This is a psychological epic which takes us through the journey of the charismatic, funny, emotional and persistent Aisha. The film covers Aisha’s life from 2010 when she was 23 years old, to 2014 with all transformations that happened to her character and appearance; she takes bold and courageous decisions that change her life forever.
